Under general supervision of the County Planner, performs a variety of technical duties in support of the County’s local code enforcement policy; monitors and enforces a variety of applicable codes and regulations related to zoning, land use, health and safety, blight, and other matters of public concern; and serves as a resource and provides information on County regulations to property owners, residents, businesses, the general public, and other County departments and divisions. Two to three years’ work experience involving a high level of public contact including some experience dealing with the public in an enforcement, inspection, investigation, and/or customer service capacity. Experience that includes the enforcement of County or Municipal codes is highly desirable.
