CUCHARA— A Pueblo woman was killed Saturday evening driving eastbound on Highway 12, just a mile outside of Cuchara, when the vehicle she was riding in failed to negotiate a curve, went off the road and struck a tree. Ambre Cassio, 25, was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, and died at the scene. The driver of the 2005 Chevy Silverado, left the scene of the accident, but a Tyler Spinuzzi of Pueblo was wanted for questioning. He later turned himself into authorities on Sunday.
