THS prom royalty announced

TRINIDAD — The 2023 Trinidad High School Prom Queen is Miss Diana Dimino.  Diana, 18, is the daughter of Vince and Nicole Dimino and sister of RoxAnn Dimino.  While at THS, she has taken multiple honors and dual enrollment courses with Trinidad State College. She has been a member of the Miner Basketball team for four years, earning an Honorable Mention award. Diana also played volleyball for one season. Diana plans to attend Colorado State University-Pueblo and work towards becoming a radiologist; one of the many goals she has set, hoping to make her late mother proud.

Prom King, Lawrence Bowman-Guzman, 18, is the son of Lawrence and Natalie Bowman.  Lawrence has played football for THS and was an accomplished Miner Wrestler during high school.  Lawrence has also become an active member in the popular new club on campus: Chess Club. Upon graduation, Lawrence plans to move to Phoenix, Arizona, to pursue his dream of becoming a professional mixed martial arts fighter.

This year’s first attendant, Adra Shaver, 18, is the daughter of Dave and Julie Shaver.  Adra has taken several honors and college-level coursework while attending THS.  Adra has been an active member of the Miner Volleyball and Miner Track teams for four years.  She has also played key roles in FCCLA, NHS, Skills USA, Knowledge Bowl and the Green Space Project.  Adra plans to attend TSC and enroll in the Gunsmithing Program with an eventual career goal to work with horses and sell her arts and crafts.

First attendant, Javier Garcia, 18, is the son of John Garcia.  While at THS, Javier has taken several dual enrollment courses through Trinidad State College.  Javier was recently inducted into the National Honor Society.  After graduation, Javier plans to attend Trinidad State and begin working towards a career as an engineer.

The next prom attendant is Leilani Kulczyk, the 18-year-old daughter of Desi Maxwell.  During her time at THS, Leilani was part of Student Council, FCCLA, Creative Board and NHS.  While taking several honors and college-level courses, Leilani has also earned academic letters.  Leilani’s future plans include majoring in Early Childhood Education at TSC and becoming an art teacher.

Prom attendant Christopher Montoya 18, is the son of Donna Montoya and grandson of Elizabeth Garcia.  During his time at Trinidad High School, Chris was a member of the wrestling and football teams for two years.  Chris spends much of his time with his brothers and family.  After high school, Chris plans to pursue a career in Auto Mechanics

The next prom attendant is Adriana Perez, the 18-year-old daughter of Dean and April Perez.  During her time at THS, Adriana was part of FCCLA and the Early Childhood Program through TSC, among other honors classes and earned an academic letter. Adriana plans to attend IntelliTec College in Pueblo and to start her career as an esthetician.

Prom attendant Adonis Sanchez, 18, is the grandson of Carla and Randy Sanchez.  During his time at Trinidad High School, Adonis has begun his certification program in the Trinidad State Auto Mechanics program.  Upon graduating next month, Adonis plans to continue working towards his degree at TSC and to continue establishing his career as a mechanic.
