Ted Cordova 1/25/1924 ~ 12/21/2020

Ted Cordova, born on January 25, 1924, was one of the best cowboys that ever roamed the country.  His stories were endless and always ended with laughter.  He told stories that would take you back in time and have a front row seat to all the action.  He cowboyed’ for the Forbes, the Trincherea, and the Hatchett ranches.  Later on, he met the love of his life when he was cowboyin’ in South Dakota, nine years later, they had three wonderful childen — Juanita, Chris, and Tony.

Ted worked in Steamboat Springs at the famous ski hill as a slope maintenance foreman for 25 years.  He went from herding cattle to herding snow, so great they named a ski run after him — Ted’s Ridge.

He is preceded in death by his mom, dad, and many brothers and sisters.  He is survived by his wife, Donna, his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildern, and a sister.

The good Lord needed the best ranch hand around and knew that you were the man for the job.  Ted  saddled up for his final ride on December 21, 2020.

We love and miss you so much, Rest in Paradise.
