    Martha Sandoval
d. 1-24-2011

Martha Sandoval, 84, went home with her loving Father on Monday, January 24, 2011 at the Colorado State Veterans Nursing Home where she was a resident.  Martha worked as a nurses aide at Huerfano Memorial Hospital and the Walsenburg Care Center for many years, retiring in 1992.  Upon retirement, Martha enjoyed doing crafts, watching her favorite T.V. shows, going shopping and most especially playing with her little dog, her “Babito Gizzy” who was her constant companion and snack buddy.

Martha will be remembered for her tremendous love of her family and of God, her sense of humor and her special brand of sarcasm and spunky attitude.
Martha will be missed tremendously but will always live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Rosary will begin at 10 am Thursday, Jan. 27 and the funeral mass will follow at 10:30 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Walsenburg; interment will take place at South St. Mary Cemetery.
