Irene Victoria DeDe, of Rye, CO, entered into rest, December 10, 2010. She was born, May 7, 1945 in Long Island, NY, to George and Tessie Loven. She was 65 years of age.
Irene is survived by her husband of 48 years, John DeDe of Rye, CO, daughter, Nanette DeDe Plock; son, John DeDe Jr.; grandchildren, Christopher and Kimberly Plock; great granddaughter, Haven Plock; and brother Carl Loven.
Irene enjoyed quilting and was a member of several quilting guilds. She was a very giving and caring person. She voluntered her time to many causes including the library, bloodbank and as a voting official. She will be greatly missed.
A funeral service will be held, Thursday, December 16, 2010 at 11 am at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Rye, CO.
Johnson-Romero Funeral Home of Walsenburg is in charge of arrangements.
