Born on August 31, 2005 in Wheat Ridge, CO to Letha Marriott and Paul Marriott; Luke passed away unexpectedly on December 3, 2023 in La Junta, CO.
Luke was an amazing young man with a stellar work ethic. He loved to do things with his hands and thrived on making peoples’ lives better. He had done a year of internship in Construction, and as his love for it grew, he went to College for a degree in Construction at Otero College in La Junta. His favorite things included working, hanging out with his sister and his friends, and he thoroughly enjoyed listening to his eclectic record collection.
He was known for his serious side, but he also had a fun-loving, carefree side as well that made him a joy to be around. Helping people was his passion and the level of care and respect he had for his elders was the nature of someone from an earlier generation.
Preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Barbara & Leroy Coram.
Survived by his parents, Letha Marriott of La Veta, CO and Paul Marriott of Littleton, CO; his sister Kaia Marriott of La Veta, CO; and close family friend Elizabeth Gabriel of Wheat Ridge CO. Other maternal family members include numerous loving Uncles, Aunts and Cousins.
Survived by his paternal grandparents, Dale and Maggie Marriott of Excelsior Springs, MO. Other paternal family members include numerous loving Uncles, Aunts and Cousins.
Memorial Services will be held on December 16, at noon at the Mountain View Baptist Church, 707 South Main Street, La Veta, CO 81055. A meal and fellowship at the La Veta Community Center will follow the service at 1 p.m.
