GUNNISON- The La Veta boys′ basketball team will be staying home next week, missing their opportunity to play in the Great Eight after losing to the Ouray Trojans 72-62. From the opneing tip-off, the Redskins were never really in the game as they fell behind 5-2 early on. The Redskins were out muscled under the boards and had trouble making shots from the outside.
