Hoehne FFA Reporter
LAMAR — The Hoehne FFA chapter competed at the Regional/District Career development events held in Lamar, Colorado on April 5th. The Chapter did exceedingly well within the regional results and stood out in district results.
Meats Evaluation – 2nd in Region, 1st in District. The Meats Evaluation team was comprised of Dylan Solano, Colton Grable, Deborah Trujillo, Justin Painter, and Conner Philpott.
Vet Science – 4th in District. The Vet Science team consisted of Molly Felthager and Ira Plank.
Livestock Judging – 1st in District. The Livestock Judging team consisted of Josh Waller, Shane and Jeremiah Montoya, and Jerrod Painter.
Farm Business Management – 3rd in District. The Farm Business Management team was made up of Jaylynn Tortorelli, Bret Lucero, Madison Cummings and Allison D’Ercole.
Floriculture – 5th in Region, 1st in District. The Floriculture team was comprised of Trevor Farmer, Malachi Jones and Michal Plank.
Also in attendance with the chapter were Conner Philpott, Patrick Cummings, Colby Leckenby, Ms. Shelly Jones and advisor Mr. Jesse Price.
