WALSENBURG- the last of the quarterfinal matches ended an exciting day of action with the heavyweights looking to advance. John Mall′s Lorenzo Trujillo mauled Zane Francesco of Sargent after a power takedown and subsequent pin at 1:27 helped Lorenzo advance to state.
Elliott Blessman lost by a disappointing pin when, after leading in the match 3-2 overcompensated a move and let Shane Sharine to roll on top and a quick pin.
