walsenburg- Walsenburg police, guided by Huerfano County Administrator John Galusha, rousted the tap dancers, mostly senior citizens, from their practice at the Walsenburg Community Center on Friday, Dec. 14. The stated reason was that there was a new floor just installed in the gym, and the tap dancers were too hard on it. “They can dance in other rooms in the building,” Galusha said, “Or they can buy special boards and lay those down to tap dance on, but right now they’re damaging the new floor.”
