WALSENBURG- Calvary Church, Walsenburg (formerly Calvary Baptist Church), welcomes Bob Swift as Pastor on Sunday, May 10, which is also Mother’s Day.
A Colorado native, Bob was born and raised in Trinidad. He and his wife, Dorothy, reside in Colorado City. Currently, Bob and Dorothy serve as Mission Service Corps Consultants for Colorado Baptists, and they just completed a seasonal ministry in Benson, Arizona, where Bob served as chaplain of a RV camp.
Calvary Church, 801 Pennsylvania Ave. is blessed to have Bob and Dorothy, and invites the community to join in this welcome. Each Sunday, Calvary offers Bible studies for all ages from 9:45-10:45 am, morning worship at 11 am, and on Wednesdays a prayer gathering at 6 pm. There will be a special gift for all ladies who worship with Calvary on Mother’s Day.
