WALSENBURG- Guy Blasi, a recently replanted Huerfano, has joined the staff of the Huerfano Journal. Blasi, a 1975 graduate of Walsenburg High School, has a BA in Journalism from Colorado State University. He was the sports and features writer for the Huerfano World newspaper from 1981 through 1986. After leaving Walsenburg, he owned a real estate company for ten years, and continued to write, this time for Referee Magazine and for the Colorado Real Estate Journal. Blasi plans to start a media relations company in addition to writing for the Huerfano Journal.
