Ralph Candelario, suspect in wife’s murder, is arrested in CA

WALSENBURG — Ralph Candelario, who published a rambling and highly suspect account of the events that led to his wife, Pamela’s death on in mid-January, will now get another opportunity to tell his story, but this time at the bar of justice, following his arrest Tuesday night in Humboldt County, California on a Colorado Bureau of Investigation warrant charging murder.
Walsenburg Police Chief Tommie McLallen said Candelario was arrested by the California Highway Patrol without incident.
Pam Candelario was found dead in the 3rd Street family home on Jan. 16, 2014.
No further information was provided late Tuesday night, with Chief McLallen saying the case at this time has been sealed.
