John N. Vialpando, 65, of Chama, Colorado went to be with the Lord March 11, 2016. He is survived by his wife, Esther Vialpando; son Nicholas (Tayna) Vialpando, daughters, Margarita Defreese, and Lydia Vialpando. Grandchildren; William Shane Defreese Jr., Garrett Defreese, Eliciana Vialpando, Zoey Moore, Nicho Jo Vialpando, and Harmony H. Valdez; mother Escolastia Vialpando, brothers Bill Vialpando, Dave Vialpando, Al (Tracy) Vialpando, Bob (Kristi) Vialpando; sisters, Yvonne Vialpando, Dora Vialpando, Suzanne (Santiago) Hernandez, Marcella (Paul), and Sharon Vialpando. God-children; Josh Hernandez and Barbara Santana, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, brothers and sisters-in-law. Preceded in death by his father, Leo Vialpando and brother, Duane Vialpando. Rosary, 7 pm, Thursday March 17, Mass 1 pm, Friday, March 18 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Gardner.
