Obituary William R. Duran

William R. Duran, 78, from the Hoehne/ Trinidad/Walsenburg area, passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2016, in Pueblo, CO. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Marcelino and Stella Duran; and his brother, Dan Duran. He is survived by his loving wife, Shirley Duran; as well as his siblings, Eva Leonard and Ginger Carr of Colorado Springs, Jim Duran (Dolores) of Trinidad, Sue Garrison (Larry) of Houston, TX, and Debbie Givens (Spencer) of Denver. Bill was also extremely close with his sisters- and brothers-in-law, Colleen Stimack, Delphine and Butch Corsentino, and Phyllis and Bobby Balich. Dad leaves to cherish his memory his children, Brenda Costa and Loretta Duran (James), along with their mother, Sadie Duran. Also, Frankie Noga (Mary Ellen), David Noga (Stella), and Deneen Ruiz (Mickey). Pampo will also remain in the hearts of his grandchildren, Justin, Ty, and Dylan Noga, Lauren and Jacob Archuletta, Deidra Tenorio, DeAnne SantaMaria (Eric), Charlie Noga (Kelly), Jon and Davey Noga, Jake Ullery (Stephanie), Kayla Bouley, Alex and Billie Jean Garcia, Derek, Jordan, and Haley Ruiz; and great-grandchildren, Mercedes Tenorio, Serenity Noga, Braiden Martinez, Gabriella Bouley, Camila Ullery, Scarlet Noga, and Madelyn SantaMaria. Uncle Bill also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, many, many friends from the Hoehne, Trinidad, Walsenburg, and Pueblo communities, and hundreds of students whose lives were impacted by Mr. Duran. A celebration of life will be held 10 am, Saturday, March 19, 2016 at the auditorium of South High School, 1801 Hollywood Dr., Pueblo, CO, with a reception immediately following.
