WALSENBURG— It was a brief final meeting for the first meeting of the new year for the Huerfano County Commissioners. Commissioners Scott King and Roger Cain ended their eight year reign by approving routine business with Commissioner Art Bobian.
Next Tuesday, January 8th, Ray Garcia and Max Vezzani will be officially sworn in at 11 am. There will be a short meeting at 11:30 am to elect the chairman and vice-chairman of the board on that day. There will be no regular meeting next Wednesday as Garcia and Vezzani will attend a three day training program for new commissioners at Colorado Counties Incorporated (CCI) in Denver on January 9th, 10th, and 11th.
