Bernie Friel, 79, of Denver and Grand Lake died Nov. 27, 2012. He is survived by his wife, Diana; children, Cindy (Patric) McElroy, Michael (Teresa) Friel, and Brian (Monica) Friel; grandchildren, Tommy and Joe McElroy and Maddy Friel; sisters, Frances Marie Friel and Clara Mae (John) Stack; and numerous nieces and nephews. Services were held on December 5, 2012 at St. Jude Catholic Church, 9405 W. Florida Ave, Lakewood, CO 80232. Interment, Ft. Logan National Cemetery.
