Florence Mary (Bellah) Cisneros, 75 of Walsenburg, Colorado entered into rest December 11, 2011 in Pueblo, Colo. She was born January 8, 1936 in Chama, Colorado. Preceded in death by her parents Sam and Hope Bellah; father of her children Conrad Cisneros; son, Anthony Cisneros; brothers Robert, Walter, and John Bellah.
Florence is survived by her children SSG Lawrence Cisneros (Vickie Wright), Geri (Fred) Rodriguez, Richard (Rose) Cisneros, Max Cisneros, Donald Cisneros, Cleo (Ron) Sandoval, Carolyn (John) Fischer, Tim Cisneros (Kenna Rodriguez), daughter-in-law Linda Cisneros, 25 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. Florence is also survived by her sister Priscilla (Julio) Duvall and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Florence married Conrad in 1953 and raised their children on their ranch in Pass Creek, Colorado. The ranch always held a very special place in Florence’s heart for it is the home of her fondest memories, and will be her final resting place. Florence moved to Walsenburg in 1976 and began her career at the Walsenburg Care Center. She soon found out that caring for the residents was her true calling, and for 26 years treated them like family members for she loved the work she did.
Florence spent her life loving her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with them, and watching them grow. Time spent at the family ranch was always treasured. Florence was truly loved by everyone who knew her, and she will be deeply missed by all.
A Rosary will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, December 16 at St. Mary Church in Walsenburg. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 17 at St. Mary Church. Followed by burial at Cisneros Cemetery in Pass Creek, Colo.
