LA VETA — La Veta students represented theri school well at the Science Fair! Special awards went to: Tiberius Good, Physics Department Special Recognition; Jade Adams, Biology Department Special Recognition; Brecken Dobbs – Naval Science Special Award; Tristan Musgrave – Air Force Special Award
First place awards were granted to: Brecken Dobbs, Microbiology; Tiberius Good, Physics; Jade Adams, Zoology; Miguel Rivera & Lukas Ozzello, Botany; Thea Lessar, Medicine/Health; Tristan Musgrave, Environmental.
In second place were: Sydney Valdez, Zoology; Lexy Riggio-Guadagnoli, Medicine/Health. Chris Bailey brought home a participant award.
Ninth grader Brecken Dobbs and sixth grader Thea Lessar qualified for the Colorado State Science & Engineering Fair.
