4-H Report for Feb 12, 2009

LA VETA- During the February 2nd Snowy Range meeting, Jim Conley gave a presentation on his trip to Iraq where he assisted in starting a 4-H program for Iraqi children.  Members of the 4-H club will be decorating the community center on February 13th at 9 am for a Sr. Citizens Valentines Dinner.  The Talent show will be held on March 13th we need more entries.  Beef and Breeding rabbit Check in is March 17th at 9 am.  The deadline for adding or dropping projects for 4-H is April 15th.  If you are doing an animal project for 4-H, please fill out an Animal care and Housing form and the county origin forms for livestock.  The next meeting is on March 2nd.
