Thomas William Haverty

Thomas William Haverty, of Blackhawk Ranch, entered into rest, November 7, 2008 at his Blackhawk home. He was born on August 17, 1940 in Cheyenne, WY to Thomas and Geneva Haverty. He was 68 years of age.
Mr. Haverty is survived by his loving wife, Theresa Haverty of Blackhawk Ranch. Children; Helen (Andrew) Haverty-Given of Loveland, Thomas (Lee) Haverty of Fort Collins, Catherine Haverty of Greeley, Andrew Haverty, of Greely, Michael Haverty of Pierce, CO, Eric Haverty of Greeley. Stepdaughter, Deanna (Chris) Chew of Olympia, WA. Grandchildren; Alex, Cassie, Savannah, Malcolm, Lilly and one on the way. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Thomas enjoyed his job at the Department of Corrections where he was an electronics instructor. He especially enjoyed his students. He was also very fond of his wonderful neighbors at Blackhawk Ranch. He will be greatly missed.
A memorial service will be held at 7 pm Thursday November 13, 2008 at the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Thornton, Colorado, Deacon Leo Oehrle will be officiating. A second memorial will be held on a later date at Blackhawk Ranch.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the loving care of Johnson-Romero Family Funeral Home.
