The City of Walsenburg servers were wiped out Wednesday night as a result of remote hacking. The Huerfano County IT department has been working steadily with us since Thursday morning to restore what we can. In the meantime, we are working without computers. Email works, however, some computers have been completely shut down to prevent further contamination. We hope to have the system up and running on Monday and time will tell. Because of this, we are investing the money to secure our system with modern technology.
