Walsenburg Wild Waters is open

WALSENBURG- The financially troubled Walsenburg Wild Waters will open for its summer season for general admission this Saturday, and will be open Sunday and Monday Memorial Day.  After that, the pool will be open four days a week- Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, from 10am to 8pm.

Individual passes will cost $6 for 18 and under, and $7 for adults.  Kids under two are free. A Splash Pass good for 20 entries will cost $60.  Concessions are also available. City officials hope to be able to keep the water park open all summer if finances hold up.
