The Huerfano County Hospital District Board of Directors WILL NOT hold their regular meeting on Tuesday- January 27, 2009. The regular scheduled meeting WILL BE HELD the following day on Wednesday- January, 28, 2009 beginning at 5:00 p.m. in the Spanish Peaks Regional Health Center Conference Room.

The City of Walsenburg is taking bids for thirty- two (32) ADA Ramps & Seven (7) Alley pans from Main St. west to Albert St. and from Fifth Street to Eighth Street. Any parties interested may obtain information of plans & specifications by contacting the Walsenburg Building Inspector at 719-738-1046 ex.26.

CITY OF WALSENBURG IS SEEKING MEMBERS FOR PLANNING AND ZONING BOARD
City of Walsenburg is seeking interested citizens for five Planning and Zoning Board positions. C.R.S. 31-23-203 specifies all members of the commission (Board) shall be residents of the municipality, that is, within current city limits. Planning and Zoning Board/Board of Adjustments members will play a vital role for Walsenburg residents by assuring the residents adhere to the guidelines set by City Council as well as ongoing growth within our city. Meetings are generally one per month. Personnel rules and terms of office shall be per C.R.S. 31-23-203. Deadline is January 19, 2009 for applications for appointment at the City Council meeting on January 20, 2009.
