TRINIDAD — Incumbents Katherine Bueno and Nicholas Mattorano, along with former Las Animas County Sheriff James Casias, have won seats on the Trinidad Ambulance District Board.  Casias won his first two year term with 69 votes, the highest vote total among all the candidates.
Bowman, who had been appointed to the board, won a four-year term with 60 votes along with Mattorano, who garnered 58 votes.
These are unofficial results until the canvas board meets on May 18 to formalize the vote.
Other contenders for a four-year term were Matthew Duran with 24 votes, and former city council member Pat Fletcher with 49 votes.  Of those running for two year terms, Amiee Lee Duran pulled in 16 votes, Matthew Moreno garnered 13 votes, and Thomas Murphy earned 14 votes.
