The Trinidad High School Miners varsity football team lost Saturday’s home conference game against the Peyton Panthers by a score of 51-0. Peyton scored 30 points in the first quarter, and 21 in the second quarter. The Panthers are now at 3-1, and the Miners now have a 0-3 record. Trinidad will take the field next when they travel to Rye for a 1A Tri-Peaks game on Thursday, November 5. Trinidad will battle a Thunderbolts team coming off a 43-0 league loss to Peyton.
