DENVER PEPSI ′′THE CAN" CENTER 11:00- The Journal had a chance to speak with Tim Yount, the leading authority on high school wrestling and president of ′On the Mat′ about his predictions on tonight′s Waylon Cordova-Alex Pena match.
Before the tournament began, Yount predicted Pena to take it all. He predicted Cordova to finish 4th. "I looked at the records. Pena is 23-2. Cordova lost seven." When questioned about Cordova′s win at Regionals and if it changed his opinion, he said, "We′′ll see." Yes, Tim, we′ll see.
