Last weekend was busy. With Solstice on the 21 and the new moon in Cancer on the 22nd, life is beginning to buzz with summer. Cancer emphasizes the nurturing aspect of our lives. Love is in the air and it is about healing one another. Whether it is an old or new relationship, now is the time to work on it. Healing takes place on many levels. Surprise someone with an act of kindness. Don′t make excuses. Just do it. You might find you like it. Better yet, respond with generosity if someone is good to you. Take a chance, and talk to your neighbor.
Another aspect is that of giving to community. Do you volunteer somewhere where kindness or care makes a difference? Spend some time at a nursing home, read to children at the local library or donate canned goods or your loose change to a good cause. Take a chance to help reduce suffering with love, caring and understanding.
