by David Tesitor

TRINIDAD- La Veta Redskin Ron Ortivez scored a two-over-par 74 to take home first place in the Trinidad Tournament August 24.  Teammate Jon Brunelli shot a 91 while Adam Ortivez shot an even 100.  The fourth member of the team, Clint Smith, who normally plays on the junior varsity team, shot a 122.     According to Coach Klinke, “Clint did a great job for us.  This was his first tournament and I’m sure he had a lot of nerves.  I was proud of him.”
