Southbound I-25 closes again

HUERFANO- Well, it was fun while it lasted. I-25 southbound will close again next week, from Monday to at least Wednesday, as CDOT crews make an adjustment to the bridge they recently repaired.

The southbound bridge needs to be physically jacked up and have replacable expanding pads put in place of the permanent expandable pads that were put under there.

The reason for the pads is to lessen stress on the bridge from the heavy traffic it holds.
