WALSENBURG — The Huerfano County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant Thursday, Sept. 24 on a camping trailer located in Walsenburg. According to a press release issued by Sheriff Bruce Newman, drug paraphernalia, including scales were found along with methamphetamine and heroin residue in the camping trailer located in the 300 block of E. Fourth St. Items believed stolen in a recent burglary were also recovered. Two individuals, Alfonso Aguirre, 35 and Sean Garlutzo, 27 were arrested and have bonded out of the Huerfano County Jail where they were initially held on $2,500 and $5,000 cash or surety bonds respectively. Aguirre was released on Saturday and Garlutzo on Sunday. Walsenburg Police assisted in the search. The HCSO press released indicates both the arrest and search warrants have been sealed and no other information is available.
