The Latino Social Club held their meeting July 27 with 29 members present. Refreshments were served and games were played. Members present were: Bea Herrera, Frank Garcia, Clara Rose Martinez, Jake Jaramillo, Nadine McNabb, Ersie Armijo, Elaine Trujillo, Monica Bustos, Ray Bustos, Maxine Pazen, Jerry Price, Bertha Ragsdale, Fred Valdez, Francis Stormen, Gasper Gonzales, Elvia Pino, Viola Pacheco, Julian Martinez, Anna Mae Cruz, Walter Patharcich, Susie Pineda, Ersie Roybal, Vivian Price, Anna Jo Sanchez, Sharon Clemmensen, and Mary Ann Clemmensen.
The club picnic will be at the Community Center Park, August 29, at 1 pm. All members please bring a covered dish to share. We hope to see you all there.
The Walsenburg Golf Clubhouse is sporting a nice new look inside after remodeling, thanks to funding from the Huerfano County Parks & Recreation District, and donations from club members of a projection TV, new sound system and coming soon, a coin operated pool table.
