Police blotter for January, 2009

   January 1

Nicholas R. West, 23, Walsenburg, was summoned into court on suspicion of violation of a protection order.                                                         

Samuel L. Cisneros, 23, of Gardner, was summoned into court on suspicion of violation of a protection order.                                                          

   January 3

Fernando Arellano, 31, Walsenburg, was arrested on suspicion of harassment/domestic violence, 3rd degree assault/domestic violence; and criminal mischief under $1,000.

Joseph D. Shane, 18, Walsenburg, was arrested on suspicion of violation of a protection order, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

   January 12

Severino A. Martinez, 34, Walsenburg, was arrested on an Outstanding Warrant out of Huerfano County for Obstructing Justice with a $45,000 bond.

   January 16

Ross Cordova, 61, Walsenburg, was arrested on suspicion of harassment/ domestic violence.                                              

   January 17

Michael Ruiz, 20, Walsenburg, was arrested on suspicion of 3rd degree assault/domestic violence.                                            

   January 18

Charles Newton, 39, Walsenburg, was arrested on suspicion of 1st degree arson, 1st degree assault, and criminal mischief.

Jose Silvano Garcia, 58, Walsenburg, was summoned into court on suspicion of harassment and 2nd degree trespass.

Jennifer T. McDonough, 31, Walsenburg, was arrested on suspicion of 3rd degree assault on an at-risk adult.
