Ortivez Advances
Denver-Pepsi Center-10:07 am- Adam Ortives will wrestle in the semi finals later tonight against Chad Terry of Hayden. It took three periods for Adam to defeat his opponent Frye of Eads 4-1. In an interview held immediately afterwards, Ortivez said his opponent was strong and would not allow a pin fall. Adam countered Fryes strength by "hipping out" by keeping his hips on the inside. We will hav more of the interview with Adam later. Adams next opponent, Terry is also a freshman with a 30-8 record. The winner will wrestle in the finals. Adam will hit the mat at 5:45 pm.
