Ortivez and Archuleta Going for Third

Ortivez and Archuleta both to wrestle for third place

Denver, CO 12:18 p.m. After getting upset yesterday, Adam Ortivez took out his frustration against Steve Velasquez of Center to advance. He will wrestle for third place later this afternoon. Adam had previously defeated Velasquez three times this season. Ortivez won in regulation by a score of 6-5. He will face Mark Edmonds of Holyoke this afternoon.

Clayton Archuleta pinned Perry Foster with one minute remaining in the third to advance to the third place bracket. Archuleta was trailing 3-2 after two and was on his back in the final period, facing defeat when he was able to reverse for one point, take down for two then put Foster on his back for the pin. He will face Wyatt Barber of Merion who defeated Hayden Upland in OT.   Archuleta also defeated Upland in action yesterday.
