Obituary- William Pino

William L. (Billy) Pino

    Bill Pino, 63, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, November 25, 2008.  He was born in Badito, Colorado on May 22, 1945 to Dave and Eusevia Pino.  Preceded in death by his father, Dave Pino, brother Victor Pino, sisters Julia Vigil and Marie Martinez, and sister-in-law Bella Pino.  He is survived by two sons, Brandon (Kristin) Pino and Billy Wayne (Sarah) Drennen, four grandchildren, Joshua and Ashley Pino and Tanner and Hunter Drennen.  Also survived by his mother, Eusevia Pino, Walsenburg; three sisters, Alice (Oris) Pacheco, Pueblo; Audrie Pino, Walsenburg; and Linda (Roger) Herrera, Pueblo; half-sister Evelyn Mackiewicz, Colorado Springs; and special friend Susan Gibbs, plus numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

    Bill grew up on the family ranch where he enjoyed working alongside his father and brother.  He then went to California where he worked from 1965 to 1975, when he returned to Colorado, and worked hanging drywall throughout Colorado with his cousins Albert and Roy Pino.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching bull riding and sports on TV, and loved listening to Mexican music.

    Bill was a small person with a very big heart, who touched so many people with his sense of humor and comical ways.  He will be sadly missed by many who were fortunate enough to know him.  Funeral services were held on Wednesday, December 3, 2008, at St. Mary Catholic Church, and inurnment at Masonic Cemetery.
