Rosemarie “Zella” Garbiso 7-16-1928 ~ 7-31-2014 Rosemarie “Zella “ Garbiso passed away July 31, 2014 at Sharmar Village in Pueblo. Zella was born on July 16, 1928 in Rouse, CO. She was preceded in death by her husband, John; her parents, Antonio and Maria Onofre Vigil; brothers Eloy and Joe; sisters Sadie and Ersie; and step-son Joseph “Shorty” Garbiso. She is survived by her only son, Ruben Rodriguez; brother Anthony “Tino” Vigil; special friends Tanya and Margaret; niece Bernadette; and nephew John. She is also survived by a special “sister” Esther, and many nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, August 5th at St. Mary Catholic Church in Walsenburg with burial at the North St. Mary Cemetery. Special thanks to Boies-Ortega Funeral Home, Sharmar Village, Tracy Trujillo from Mountain Creek Home Health Care, and the numerous girls from Council of Governments who took care of her. Boies-Ortega was in charge of services.
