Rosa Maria Betancourt

Rosa Maria Betancourt, 95, born August 10, 1915 in Areceibo, Puerto Rico passed away December 22, 2010. She is preceded in death by her husband, Sergio Miguel Betancourt Ingles, her son, Michael Betancourt, and parents, Balbino & Dolores Lopez. Rose leaves behind to cherish her memory, her daughter, Rachel Dimond; and grandchildren, Jennifer (Dimond) Gravestock, of Colorado Springs, and Rachel (Dimond) Sassano, of Littleton, CO. Rosa married Sergio in 1942 in New York City. She enjoyed cooking, was very creative, and loved gardening in Puerto Rico. At her request there will be no viewing or service. She will be laid to rest with her husband at the National Cemetery in Puerto Rico. Her family has been blessed to have Rosa with us here in Colorado for the last year of her life.
