Robert Leroy Vigil, 71, went to be with the Lord on October 8, 2014 in Pueblo, CO. Leroy, born on January 23, 1943, was one of three brothers born to Raymond and Lupe Vigil in Gardner, CO. Leroy went to school in Gardner, then graduated from Huerfano County High School in Walsenburg. He graduated from barbering school in Pueblo then got drafted into the Army where he spent the next six years in the service. After being honorably discharged from the army, he took up barbering in Denver where he worked for many years before being struck by the bad sickness with which he struggled and suffered for many years. He loved cars and liked to work on them. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Raymond and Lupe Vigil, and hisbrother, Gilbert Vigil. He is survived by his daughter, Sherri Carrasco, and his brother, Raymond Vigil, Jr.; four grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Services will be held at St. Mary Church on Saturday, October 18 with a Rosary at 10:30 am followed by the funeral at 11am.
