Obituary Patricia “Trish” Trujillo

Patricia “Trish” Trujillo passed away March 28, 2015, surrounded by her loving family, after losing her courageous battle with cancer. She was born April 19, 1960 in La Junta, CO to Harry and Mariann Shriver. Preceded in death by her brothers, Russell and Roger Shriver, Patricia is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Frank Trujillo; children Danielle (Donnie), Rosalie (Monte), Alex (Jessica) and Nathaniel (Katie); grandchildren, Alexis, Shayla, Josyln, Zariah, Dalyne, and Damian; her parents; sister Sarah Shriver; nephews, Joseph Sanchez and Jonathan Shriver; godson, Armando Trujillo; as well as extensive extended family. Patricia had an open door policy; everyone was welcome in her home, especially those in need. She was always ready to listen and offer advice in a non-judgemental way. Family was most important to her; she lived for her children and grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by all whose lives she touched. A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 10 at 2 pm at the Boies-Ortega Funeral Home, 115 E. 5th in Walsenburg, CO.
