He is predeceased by mother Anna, father Pasquale, and nephew Micael Difino, and is survived by his loving wife Barbara, daughter Gloria, brother John (Maxine) and sister Maryann Nicolay; stepdaughters Lisa D’Angelo and Laura (Steve) Shanesy; grandchildren Cecilia D’Angelo, Nicholas Roy Shanesy and Dayna Lauren Shanesy; nieces Jill (James) Abbinanti, Kim (Louis) Danielson, and Nicole (Michael) Nugent; great-nieces Alexis and Allyson Abbinanti, Emily Nugent and Faith Danielson. Great-nephews Luke Danielson and Mathew Nugent and countless friends.
Visitation was Monday 8/25 at Boies-Ortega Funeral Home, and funeral Mass was Tuesday 8/26 at Christ the King Church in La Veta, CO.
