Obituary- Hazel Kline

Hazel Kline 10-31-1938 ~ 12-21-2014 Hazel Kline went into eternal life on December 21, 2014. She was born in Penrose, Colorado in a house on October 31, 1938 to Leonard and Eva Finney. She grew up on a homestead in the country. Hazel and her husband Lee started and pastored an Assemblies of God church in Walsenburg, CO for 24 years as well as pastoring a Mennonite church in Walsenburg for two years. They also pastored churches in Las Animas, and Cheyenne Wells, CO. Her children are Gary and David Kline. She has two grandchildren, Luke and Dylan. Hazel loved children. She taught children’s church for many years. She was a key part in developing the largest and most exciting youth group in Walsenburg, CO. Taking care of foster children also showed her love of children. Cooking homemade food was a passion of hers. She was an inspiration to her children in that she still cooked homemade food. Services were held at Saint James Church in Colorado Springs, CO. Address is 4615 North Park Drive. Viewing will be at 10 am and service was at 11 am on Friday, December 26th.
