Gilbert Romero

After a valiant struggle, our cherished and beloved father, Gilbert Romero, 93, passed away on November 28, 2012.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary E. Romero.
He is survived by his immediate family; Judy (Jim) Benine, Joyce (Alan) Kuykendall, Janet (Ron) Guthrie, Richard (Loretta) Sandoval, Kristy (Kenny) Johnson, Debbie Romero and Gil Romero; his grandchildren, Ryan (Annie), Natalie (Wayne), Melisa (Ted), Amber, Jessi (Tiffany), Andrew, Emily and Lindsay; his great-grandchildren, Noah, Maya, Jodeci, Liam, Orratio, Jaziah, Lily and Hayleigh.
All those who knew him well, remember his sense of humor, his devotion to his immediate family, and his love of life and he always looked forward to his next meal.
Although his passing has left a great sadness in our hearts, his unconditional love and life’s teaching will remain deep in our souls.
At his request, private graveside military services were held to honor his memory.
