Frances Irene Usnick "Fran Blake," 56, passed away on May 20, 2010, in Pueblo, Colo. She is survived by her father, William Usnick; sisters, Mary (Jack) Young, Dayle Achilles and Ruth Ann McNeely. Also survived by her niece, Theresa Shields and family. She is preceded in death by stepmother, Ruth Usnick and stepbrother, David Kayo. Fran was the care giver for her father for the last 10 years. She had a profound love for animals. At request, there will be no viewing. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Memorial service will be held 11 am Wednesday, June 2, 2010, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 121 E. 7th Street, Walsenburg, Colo., with the Rev. Fr. Martin Frias as celebrant.
