Fern G. Carmack of Gunnison, and formerly of Walsenburg, died Saturday March 21 at Montrose Memorial Hospital. She was 80 years old.
Survivors include her children, Pat Stehwien and husband Stan of Gunnison (also formerly of Walsenburg), Dixie Lynn Sanborn and husband Chris of Lihue, Hawaii; and Bill Carmack and wife Rebecca Correll of Olathe, CO. She is also survived by her sister, Maxine Kucera and husband Leonard of Moyie Springs, Idaho; her brothers, Hobert White of Colorado Springs and Douglas White of Bonners Ferry, Idaho; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
A memorial service was held Saturday 28, at Gunnison Lakeside Resort.
