In loving memorial of Esperanza Martinez, born August 13, 1919 in Pryor, Colorado and born again September 1, 2013 in Walsenburg, Colorado.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Cynthia Gonzales and her grandson, Louie Sanchez.
Esperanza is survived by her daughters, Rose Marie (Ed) Sanchez of Walsenburg, Bernadette (Randy) Montoya of Albuquerque, NM; son, Bernard ‘BL’ L. Romero of Denver; as well as by 14 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 24 great-great grandchildren.
The Rosary Service will be held at 10 am, followed by the Funeral Mass at 10:30 am, Saturday, September 7, 2013 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Walsenburg.
Burial will be at North St. Mary Cemetery, in Walsenburg.
