Erminio F. Andreatta, 91, of La Veta died July 28th, 2013 from acute complications of congestive heart failure.
Preceded in death by his loving wife, Theresa; parents, Emilio and Rosa Andreatta; brothers, Ermer and August Andreatta; and sisters, Linda Zancanella, Sara Moltrer, and Sylvia Pfaffenhauser.
Erminio is survived by his son David (Cindy) Andreatta along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
A life-long La Veta and Yellowstone resident and well-known local rancher, Erminio was always ready with a stubby-finger poke; a tease, joke, amusing story; or primed for the ultimate elk hunt. The ornery twinkle in his kind blue eyes will be sorely missed.
Services arranged by Boies-Ortega Funeral Home in Walsenburg, CO. Vigil Rosary, was held at 6:00 p.m., July 31st, and Funeral Mass, 10:00 a.m., August 1st, services both to be held at Christ the King Catholic Church in La Veta, CO. Interment at La Veta Cemetery will follow the funeral.
