Edward H. Valdez, 40, died Sunday, June 19, 2011. Edward was born June 20, 1970 in Pueblo to Robert H. Valdez and Georgia K. George. He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved children Nikita Lynn, Ezekiel and Jonathan Valdez; his beloved granddaughter, Alessandra Rae Valdez; his wife, Tara Sandoval Valdez; a brother, Christopher George; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father, Robert H. Valdez; his grandparents, Joe T. and Filomena Valdez, and Dan and Rubye Pacheco. Viewing will be Thursday June 23, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Boies-Ortega Funeral Home. Rosary will be at 9:30 am followed by the Funeral Mass at 10:00 am Friday, June 24, 2011, at the St. Mary Catholic Church in Walsenburg. Cremation will follow at the Sangre de Cristo Crematory in Canon City, Colorado.
