Edward Martin Jr 6-5-1946 ~ 2-20-2018

Edward Martin Jr was born June 5, 1946 to Edward and Anita (Ynostrosa) Martin in Junction, Texas.  He was welcomed into heaven on February 20, 2018.
He is preceded in death by his mom Anita,  father in-law Salvador Guerrero, grandmother Tomasita who raised him, uncles Pete and Leo, brothers Octavio, Ralph, Lupe, Adolph, and many other loved ones.
Left behind to cherish his memories are his wife of 39 years Kathleen; daughter Jennifer (Gary) Lovett; as well as his four puppies, Akina, Shadow, Midnight, and Lil Dude; sisters Anita Barela (Jim), Viola (Tom) Rico, Yolanda (Ricardo) Ramirez; brothers Robert (Della) Ynostrosa, John Ynostrosa; in-laws, mother-in-law Jennie, Ezekiel, Isaac (Denise), Nathan (Kari); and along with numerous nieces, nephews, and tons of friends.
Edward was known to like to talk with people.  It didn’t matter if he knew who they were, he just loved to talk, mostly about his police officer days or his many truck driving experiences along with his Vietnam war stories.
He served 17years on the Walsenburg Police Department along with working at the Huerfano County Sheriff’s Department and Clear Creek County. In between he worked as a truck driver. He will be missed dearly but his memories will be with all forevermore.
Services will be held at the Emmanuel Apostolic Temple on 711 W. 2nd in Walsenburg, CO will be laid to rest at Fort Logan cemetery, Denver, CO.
